Its not really possible to swim by the cottage. there's a fair bit of boat traffic and the water is shallow with a lot of rocks and obstacles. You have to swim off the dock. “We 4 ppl booked there for 2Ns, but left there in the middle after the first night! Drawbacks: -Low shower water pressure -only 5mins hot water and then it's an absolute cold! (maybe their HW Tank is small) -They add a hidden 'Property Fee' ($150) right before the Check-out at the site when booking! -They add $25 per person over 2 guests PER NIGHT! “My husband and I rented the Cedar cottage for Thanksgiving weekend! It was great! The cottage is spacious, comfortable & completely sanatized. We had a beautiful view of the lake and enjoyed kayaking & sitting by the water enjoying the autumn colours! We loved having a BBQ, outdoor firepit & an indoor fireplace. It was a true "cottage" experience. We hope to return again!”
