“The location was perfect and our room was lovely and clean. Nice pubs and Londis within walking distance. Owners, Kel and Mel were very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area, giving directions to walks along the canal and the history of the local area. The cooked breakfast was outstanding!”

“Really nice room. Cosy bar and restaurant. The Four out of five for the staff because they sat around us chatting whilst we were having breakfast. It felt a little like we were in the way of their conversation. Dined here on two evenings and one breakfast. Very good meals apart from a massively overpriced “cauliflower steak” - ordered out of curiosity but I should have asked first. It was just a roasted head of cauliflower… and not that big a one, either, but the price didn’t reflect...

“We spent a lovely night at the B and B. Everything was perfect and they even left a G and T and beer in the fridge for us to enjoy and fresh milk in a jug. The beds were extremely comfortable and the water piping hot. The breakfast in the morning was lovely and our hosts could not have been more welcoming We will return again”

“What a fantastic B&B, free parking right behind if you are lucky. The accommodation was lovely, the rooms are brilliant, our room (right at the top) was boutique style with a nice big bath in the room, great views out of the windows. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities in the room and a private toilet. Nice comfortable big bed with a big heavy duvet and plenty of pillows. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. “The shower did not drain, which resulted in the bathroom becoming flooded with water. The light in the seating area would not work. The pillows were very thin and so was the mattress. Overall a poor experience. ”
