“Traveled 280 miles almost 5 hours to our booking at the old butchers cottage but never recieved any access information at all so were sat in the garden unable to access premises . attempted to contact the host via phone number on site /emails but went straight to a gift gaff mobile . spent almost 3 hours on the phone to hotels.com attempting to contact host but ended up having to find alternative accommodation as was now 8pm on a Sunday night and myself partner 2 children and elderly mother...

“Excellent property in a superb location. Only a few minutes walk to town through a lovely woodland. It accommodated 4 adults and two dogs perfectly. The host was exceptional with thier preparation of the property and it was faultless for our needs. Highly recommended for time spent in Belper or the wider region.”

The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay.”
