"Overall, our stay at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino was pretty disappointing. Check-in took well over an hour, and the line behind us just kept getting longer. What made it even more frustrating was seeing around 40 computers at the front desk but only about 6 staff actually working. When we finally got to the desk, we were greeted by a staff member who immediately tried to downgrade our room because they had apparently “overbooked.” Honestly, I don’t understand how that even happens when a hotel knows exactly how many rooms and beds they have available. The hotel itself was okay, but nothing fantastic. It had the essentials and that was about it — definitely not the luxury experience we were expecting. To make things worse, they also tried to charge me for a minibar purchase I never made because the minibar system is weight-detected. One positive was the location. We knew it was a bit further from the main Strip, but for us that was actually an advantage since we don’t enjoy huge crowds around the hotel. However, if you don’t mind being in the middle of the action, I’d honestly recommend spending a bit extra and staying somewhere else."

"Yes - but got lost a lot in the floor plan and the food was expensive. Also much darker inside than other casinos."

"I liked the location, our room had a view of the fountains at the Bellagio. The pool was crowded, but good people watching. Our room could have been cleaner, but we were able to check in early ($50 fee). Air conditioning didn’t really get that cool, even having the shades closed during the day."

"Customer service was wonderful. The room was clean, but wish it had a floral scent. The hotel overall was very nice. We saw the Mary J. Blige show which was wonderful finding our way around to some of the venues was kind of difficult getting lost in direction on which way to go but overall great experience. I would book again."

"My daughter and I stayed one night at the Flamingo for a concert. The concept of the room was cute with the fun wallpaper and headboards. However, there were a few areas that need some work. The outlets in the walls didn’t work, the cable TV was not working and the blackout curtains didn’t close all the way in the middle so we had to put our suitcase up against it to block the light. However, the staff were all really friendly and the location was great for exploring the area. "
