“We had room 9 which had an upstairs with twin beds as well as the double room down stairs. Plenty of space for just my friend and I. Beds very comfy, and we loved having our own outside space at the back. We couldn't put our finger on what the slight odour was in the room, but it didn't spoil our stay, so we didn't report it. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous! as was our meal the night before. This place is very good value for money, and I would stay here again. ”

“Hotel well positioned on sea front, good choice of food and well stocked bar. All staff were excellent. Room a reasonable size with good size bathroom. Only one detraction was the room was oh so hot! Admittedly it was an etremely hot couple of days.”

“We had an amazing stay at Beaches. The grounds and house are impeccable, with lovely interiors. There are so many thoughtful details throughout the property, and Buzz and Jo were responsive, kind, and personable. The area is close enough to walk to the main part of town, but we loved the quiet and calmer street, as well as the dining options. We will be back!”

“The property was on the seafront overlooking the beach, Southend Pier, and the amusements. All of the food outlets were either on the seafront or within 20 minutes walk east or west along the parade or north going towards Sainsburys. Lovely place which i hope to visit again.”

“It’s a very traditional hotel in a lovely, scenic landscape. It also provides a lot of entertainment for youths. It is within walking distance to the station, the High Street and it’s by the sea with a wonderful park in front of it.”
