“We were amazed how clean and modern and well-maintained the hotel is! Doesn’t look like a typical motel, very cozy, very clean. We found it last minute and checked out at 12 am, the staff was very friendly. And the price is very modest. Recommend!”

“Excellent location and perfect service. Recommend to everyone who wants to get good quality by reasonable price”

“👍”

“Very enjoyable stay. Wish the breakfast lasted longer”

“Service was very slow at breakfast in the restaurant, even though there were only two other couples dining.”

“Good - the view of the Catawba valley, the bed, room is large, owner extremely helpful, brewed coffee in the game room at 7am. Bad - the bathroom is moldy, there is no restaurant or breakfast, there is no kitchenette just a small refrigerator. For the price and the description, not what I thought. But it was ok.”

“As always, this hotel is exceptional. My now-fiancé and I came down here last year for Christmas and we absolutely loved it! We came back this year and celebrated Halloween weekend here and he proposed the day of Halloween!! I will always recommend this place to others. I love the staff, the amenities, the snack bar and other items downstairs, and the heated indoor pool especially. I can’t think of a single problem this hotel has ever given me. It’s been a perfect and beautiful stay both times....

“Worth the travel, time & $$!”

“Great location. Clean and spacious room with balcony .”

“Rooms are smaller than average. Most of them have no windows (a bit claustrophobic). Fire alarm went off early morning (which according to staff happens often due to shower steam and over sensitive fire detectors). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect location.”

“Everything was clean and ready for us. Was a cold week but still nice and warm with the gas logs. Kitchen was supplied with utensils and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our stay. We will be back. ”

“Beautiful location. Friendly staff, clean cabin. We enjoyed our stay.”
