“The room was clean and comfortable. It was a quiet night's sleep as I believe I was the only one there. Breakfast was very plain and simple: English muffins and cinnamon toast, with no fruit or juice. Coffee was plentiful”

“Room very clean and beds extra comfortable. Lots of small decorating features for a motel and gardens on grounds were extra beautiful. Rooms themselves felt older but with new furnishings. Overall a comfortable stay.”

“Older strip type motel. That said room was clean and bed was comfortable. It was good for a couple of days that I stayed. No breakfast available at motel though they did give me a discount coupon to bar/resturant next door. ”

“I work hard and needed the perfect relaxing place. We booked a night while we were passing through town and it was exactly what we needed. The atmosphere was what you would expect from a Vermont establishment. The beer was great, the meatballs were literally amazing. At first I felt the price of the pizza was a bit high but after eating it I had zero regrets, worth it. Our room was above the bar and provided ear buds. We wouldn’t need them on this night because we may have been the only guests....

“Prior to our arrival on a warm day, Rocky the proprietor, made sure he had the room's air conditioning running. We had a nice cool room after a hot motorcycle ride. There are also places in walking distance for breakfast, snacks/beer, and a few restaurants for dinner.”

“THE NUTMEG LIVED UP TO WHAT WE WERE EXPECTING. THE ONLY COMPLAINT WAS CLIMBING UP TO THE UPSTAIRS WAS DIFFICULT...BUT BECAUSE THE BUILDING WAS VERY OLD...NOTHING CAN BE DONE TO CORRECT THIS ISSUE. BUT WE SURVIVED IT!”
