If you want an easy short hike, definitely go here. It is along the ocean and absolutely beautiful.
Bring comfortable hiking shoes or boots. Trails lead to spectacular rocky coastline scenery.
Loved the hiking trails at Montana De Oro. Lots of them for may levels from easy walks to strenuous climbs. Awesome views of the ocean from virtually every trailer we were on.
A bit out of the way and quite a walk but so wild and wonderful to see. Tide pools and uplifted rocks. Named "Mountain of Gold" by Spanish sea Captains who thought the hills covered in gold flowers were real gold (spring and early summer). Worth the off the beaten path trip.
