"Great hotel. Right at the beachfront, stairs down to beach and walking distance to the boardwalk and restaurants. Staff was helpful, breakfast was instant oatmeal and packaged pastries. The only complaint is that we were on the first floor and in the mornings we could hear every step our upstairs neighbors made. I was hoping to sleep in but couldn’t sleep with the noise. I would stay here again, but I’d get a room on top floor."

"The location is absolutely beautiful! We had a pool view with the ocean behind it. We were very happy with our room. Unfortunately, there is construction going on so this was a little bit of an inconvenience a few different times. That is the only reason I have some low marks. Water was shut off for four hours one day and unexpectedly the next morning as well. However, the staff credited our parking and resort fee. That was much appreciated and made my frown turn into a smile. We will definitely be going back. Thank you, Avila Beach suites!"

"The pics of the room looks nice. But when you actually get there you can tell that the rooms been ran through for countless tourist use. Room was movie themed. But all the appliances were probably bought 15 years ago and never been replaced. The hotel was scary to enter. Felt like I was going to slip and hurt myself after the tub is filled. I recommended to put the rubber Matt in first before getting in. The breakfast was really good. Best hotel croissants I've ever had. I chose the ham and Swiss one. Nice and crispy. The egg casserole/ quich3 was nice. If I had to chose the main thing I did not like it is the parking. Guaranteed that place had countless people hitting and scraping their cars. Very tight and enclosed and an more accidents waiting to happen then you can shake a stick at."

"The view and private beach at this hotel was amazing. I went with my partner, and we enjoyed the walk down to the beach every day. This is definitely a family-oriented hotel, so if you’re a couple and looking for privacy or quiet, I wouldn’t suggest. However, I really enjoyed the fresh baked cookies every day from 3-7pm, the adult only hot tub that was open until 11pm, and the fire pits. The free breakfast was also decent. Cons: As much as I loved staying here, the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable- which is enough for me to not return. I was really disappointed by that and we had to ask for an extra mattress topper which they gave us but it was still pretty hard. It was also advertised that there would be free bike rentals and they didn’t have any. They suggested we use the ones next door, but those were rusty and in horrible shape. I tried to use one and it got a flat tire in under a minute. After talking with the staff, I learned they are revamping their own bike service but it is unknown when they will have them available. Overall, impeccable service and great amenities, especially for families. The private beach and views were the highlight of our trip."
