Monterey Bay Coastal Trail, California hotel rooms at the Motel 6

"The place was really clean and generous with the toiletries. Great location just across 711 and a restaurant within the hotel area but expensive There’s Dennys walkable from the hotel. Also we needed to do our laundry and they have one washer and dryer just across our room. The front desk was really friendly. Overall we’re very happy with our stay and will recommend this place."

"If I have to mention one thing that deserves not even one star, it is the coffee maker in the room. The coffee Keur brand and the amount of water used for the machine, tasted like water. It Even with the given instruction how to use this machine , it took for ever. And was tasteless. For a room that charges $500 a night we expected some good coffee! Respectfully. "I can’t say enough about the staff! Everyone was so helpful and kind. The entire facility was squeaky clean. Our room, #439, was a corner room with an actual balcony with chairs, a view of cannery row and the bay. Because it was a corner room, it was bigger with a very large bathroom. Nice workout facility and pool too! Walking distance to good restaurants and a mile or two to excellent non-touristy eateries - Monterey Fish House & The Sand Bar on pier 2, so lots of options. We highly recommend the Intercontinental!"
