"Overall it was decent and clean for somewhere to sleep and clean up. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Great surrounding area with many things to do and see. Close to beach. Only minor complaint was floor could use a good mop first but looked like it was swept. And just a little mildew under handle bar in tub. Would stay here again because of the convenience of nearby activities and much quieter with less traffic away from tourist traffic congestion."

"A friend of mine and I zipped over to Monterey for a quick weekend trip. We decided to stay at the Martine Inn after looking at the photos online. We both love old Victorian style bed-and-breakfast, and this one did not disappoint! I could just feel the history in this dwelling! Not to mention, I thoroughly enjoyed all the antiques, the views, and the breakfasts! I will be taking my husband back there in the near future for a getaway!"
