โAmazing - if you are interested in the last few hundred years of U.S. History, I'd put this one on your list of places to visit. Just a great experience. Out of the innumerable artifacts dating back to the end of the 18th century, I particularly was taken back by the original copy of a page from April 15th, 1865 - I didn't have time to see everything. The property's stewards will most likely offer a tour and they are really nice folks. I thought this location was aggressively under priced. โ
โWe had a wonderful two-night stay at the Woodstock. Our room was lovely - and absolutely spotless. Kim, the owner, is a kind and welcoming person. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We will absolutely stay here again if we go back to the Kansas City area.โ
โThe staff was wonderful and the Three Owls Restaurant was so good. The breakfast buffet this morning was delicious. The chef was very social. I enjoyed visiting with him.โ
โClean property and rooms. Great water pressure. Parking lot for semi truck, just wish we didn't have to pay $15 parking fee since we got a hotel room.โ
โThe pool area was nice & clean, we had ro make use of it, was very refreshing!
