“Our room was large, clean and comfortable. It was on the upper floor in the Ocean View building and the view was wonderful. Parking was easy and the Island Explorer stopped at a nearby building regularly. (We toyed with catching the bus at the neighboring Hampton Inn, which might be even closer.) We walked into Bar Harbor several times. We didn't try the restaurants on the Wonder View/Blue Nose property. We also didn't visit the gym or the pools. “We loved our room especially with the wallpaper, which suited it perfectly. Christopher at the front desk was a delight and font of information, and it was wonderful to have a reserved parking spot for our room. The room was spotless with some of the best pillows we’ve ever encountered on a trip. It was an easy walk to several restaurants and also to Main Street. The front desk also helped us make last minute reservations for accessing Cadillac Mountain, though the weather was not in our favor....
