"Location was great. Close enough to ammenities of the park, but still felt like we were far enough away. Accommodations were nice. The onsite El Tovar restaurant was mid. Service was a 3 out of 10 and food was a 6 out of 10. Allergy accommodation of no milk was a simple request at bookimg time and seating time, yet food was tabled to us with cheese. Waiter felt like he was half asleep."
Holiday Inn Resort The Squire at Grand Canyon by IHG
8/10 Good
"Clean room, but like many other reviewers stated: musty smell in the restroom. Most likely attributed to the water they state is recycled. We were very surprised to find the room did not come with any water out of courtesy. We were especially thirsty after a 7 hour drive. When we left, our room was serviced and we found one bed half way made and the other left as is, with pillow on the floor. Only trash was taken out and towels restocked. My fiancé joked that the person servicing must have been in a rush and cared less. AC was loud at times during the night. "
"Rooms A/C system was not working for several days of our stay with room temperatures reaching 80 degrees.
Parking is atrocious requiring half mile walks to an open parking space. All hotel parking is open to day visitors leaving hotel guest to find remote lots on their own and walk great distances."
