"The rooms are very roomy, based on Japan standards. Breakfast was amazing—something for everyone. Staff is beyond courteous. Location to Tokyo Disney Parks is superb. Would definitely go here again."

"Wonderful stay in Tokyo! The breakfast was amazing, the rooms were always very clean, and everyone at the hotel was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The only small downside is that most attractions are a bit far, so you do need to take the train often. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay here again"

"The hotel was in a great location attached to Tokyo Station eliminating another train after returning on the Shinkansen. Be warned the lobby /reception is on the 27th floor so google maps will say ‘you’ve arrived’ but you need to go inside the building and go to level 27 to check in… lovely hotel, friendly staff, clean amenities and lots of places in and around Tokyo station to eat, drink and shop. I probably wish this was our first Tokyo stop and not last. Would stay again. Walking distance to Ginza too. "

The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Tokyo Shiodome

"Upon check-in, I was charged an additional ¥21,000 for having two guests instead of one. While I understand this may be hotel policy, there was no price difference shown during booking whether I selected one or two guests, which made the charge feel unexpected. We have never encountered this issue elsewhere while travelling. When we entered the room, it was noticeably dirty. There was hair in the shower and throughout the bathroom, surfaces had not been cleaned properly, and there was visible dust around the room. The final issue was the luggage delivery service. We were travelling as three separate parties with different bookings. Our friends used the app, while the staff member assisting us said he could process ours manually. Unfortunately, he entered the wrong arrival date. As a result, our friends’ luggage arrived at the next hotel on time, while ours was held back until the incorrect date he had written down. From start to finish, the experience was extremely disappointing, especially as first-time visitors to Tokyo. I have never written a hotel review before, but this stay left us frustrated enough that I felt it was necessary."

"This hotel is conveniently located next to some great shopping areas so ideal if you’re looking to pick up clothes, souvenirs or gifts. Slightly further away from the metro than most other hotels (about a 10 min walk) but didn’t affect us. The hotel itself is great, rooms are spacious, welcome drinks are offered each day for free and staff are friendly. We were given a smoking room which was the only downside as we are non-smokers and the room absolutely stank of smoke/cigarettes. When we notified staff of this, there were no alternative rooms available but they did make attempts to remove the smell (this didn’t do much but you could see they tried)"
