Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo-ariake
10/10 Excellent
"I had a fantastic experience staying at Hotel Villa Fontaine in Tokyo and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city! Exceptional Staff & Service: Since I only speak English, I was a bit nervous about logistics, but the staff here went completely above and beyond. They were incredibly nice and accommodating, even helping translate and coordinate directly with my other hotel to handle my luggage shipping (Takkyubin). They made what could have been a very stressful process absolutely seamless! Impeccable Cleanliness: The hotel is extremely clean. Every single day, it was such a relief to come back from a long day of activities and sightseeing to a perfectly refreshed, spotless room. Perfect Location & Amenities: The location is unbeatable—super convenient and close to everything, making navigating Tokyo incredibly easy. On top of that, the in-room Wi-Fi was strong, fast, and reliable the entire time. Between the helpfulness of the staff, the cleanliness, and the perfect spot, this hotel made my trip to Tokyo so much better. I will definitely look to stay here again on my next visit!"

APA Hotel Asakusa Tawaramachi Ekimae
4/10 Poor
"Shower ran out of hot water, occured 3 times while staying. Walls damaged, corner space are dirty and air conditioning smells funny."

APA Hotel & Resort Ryogoku Ekimae Tower
10/10 Excellent
"I had a wonderful stay at this APA hotel in the Ryogoku area and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Japan. We stayed here from April 20th to April 30th, 2026, and had a great experience throughout our trip. The location is very convenient, and Ryogoku itself is such an amazing area. While it is a bit farther from some of the more central or bustling parts of the city, I actually found that to be a huge plus. After spending the day in busy, high-energy areas, it was so relaxing to come back to a quieter neighborhood where you can unwind and escape the chaos. The hotel staff were consistently kind, welcoming, and very helpful whenever we needed assistance. Their hospitality really added to the overall positive experience. Check-out was also extremely smooth and convenient, which made our departure stress-free. The rooms are on the smaller side—as expected in Tokyo—but they are well-designed and have enough space for two people to stay comfortably. Everything was kept very clean, and the housekeeping service was exceptional throughout our stay. Although we didn’t get the chance to try the hotel’s amenities, one standout feature was the konbini located right in the building. It was incredibly handy to grab snacks, drinks, or quick meals without even having to leave the hotel. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay, and if I return to Japan, I would definitely choose to stay at this APA hotel again."
