"We really enjoyed our long weekend stay. The resort is great for kids! Having the pool and the bay on the property, and the actual beach just a short walk away was all very convenient. There were showers at the pool and the bay for convenient rinsing, and the free arcade games were fun for the family. We also participated in the kids' activities a couple of times, and visited the colorful birds on the property. There was always something to do, although we missed the other regular programs.
The hotel staff were very helpful! There were a few incidents that weren't great- our room wasn't ready on time, it was taken out of service and they changed our room after check in, and there was some disturbing construction noise next to the new room, but the staff (front desk Amaya and manager Roman) handled these issues in a way that we were satisfied with. There were a couple of interactions that weren't so nice, but we had more positive interactions to make up for it.
We had a nice meal at Moray's Lounge, but I also really liked the taco place next door to the hotel. Ralph's is nearby for groceries too.
The resort fee ($52/nt) and parking ($47/nt) are kind of crazy, and it's inconvenient that the parking garage doesn't have an elevator, but the bell desk can help load your bags on a cart to load/unload on the lobby level. Isaiah was particularly helpful and friendly!"
