โExcellent check in. Very friendly staff. Extremely dog friendly.
Room was spacious. All the fire doors in the corridors were a bit difficult to manage, but otherwise good.
Food and drink was excellent and bar staff great.
Excellent location being in the middle of the high street and the canal very close by for walking.
Outdoor areas of the hotel were rather scruffy / dirty. Not a particularly nice area to sit close to the car park.โ
โCharming Inn with a great restaurant. About an hours drive from Heathrow. We stayed here the night before our flight out. Quiet and comfortable with it's own parking area.โ
โDelightful linens, food, ales, garden... and the staff are wonderful. A hidden gem that is a beautiful getaway easily accessible by car or railroad - or indeed on the Kennet by boat!โ
โReally lovely family run pub, Simon and Amy are wonderful nothing is too much trouble. This is the first place my husband who has numerous allergies has been where he has had actual options. The food is all excellent and we know we pretty much ate our way through the entire menu. Our dogs were made welcome and we had a lovely stay. โ
โA lovely country house hotel. Our room was very spacious with an outside patio where we enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine. The bathroom was large with a bath and a shower. We ate in the โTasting Roomโ and very much enjoyed the tasting menu. The area outside the hotel has pleasant area with tables and chairs which we enjoyed as it was a warm sunny day. The hotel is quite expensive, but we thought it worth the money. The spa was OK, small and a little tired but we enjoyed our swim in the pool....
โA nice hotel in a rural area. You probably need a car to visit places around. The service was very good and the staff were really helpful. There were few alternatives for breakfast, but the traditional English breakfast was good. The room was quite clean but some dust. โ
โFabulous hotel. Clean fresh beautifully decorated rooms. Relaxing ambiance. Huge bathrooms fluffy towels and great shower. Bed so comfortable. Lovely welcome gift of home made cakes and sweets. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious, staff all wonderful. Highly recommend, we will return! โ
