โThe George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. I want to mention a few things that did not bother us but may matter to other potential guests:

โwe had a great stay breakfast was fantastic, only slight moan parking outside sometimes was unavailable , but there is a pay and display car park very close buy so when a space became available outside i moved my car .โ
โHave stayed here many times because we love the area. Bathroom is needing an upgrade, dirty and curtains are shabby. Beds are clean and comfortable, hot drink facilities are good and excellent access to Costa and McDonaldโs.โ
โEveryone we encountered, staff or guest, was friendly. The atmosphere was calm, the village is beautiful - and an interesting mix of old and new.
Breakfast was also super.โ
โProperty under work conditions. Builder's works. Out side & in parking area. Not that it stopped peaople from doing things. But things still being sorted. Under staft at times especial sunday morning everyone leaving to go home one barr staff to deal with reception. Barr. Food peoples wants & needs. Breakfast ect . Needed two or three staff in my opinion. Aside from thay excellent. Thank you. I will be back.โ
โGreat welcoming service, good breakfast and nice large room. The best โfamily roomโ I have ever stayed in. It was really spacious for a family of four, plenty of free floor space around all the beds.
Will definitely stay again โ
โAlthough I only stayed one night this was enough to understand that the owners really care for their property and this translates to the service given. They were polite and courteous and even remembered our names which is a nice touch.
The food we had for dinner and breakfast was also delicious. โ
โBeautifully decorated, spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed, powerful shower, quick check-in, helpful staff.
Only improvement would be to find a way to prevent the doors in the corridor from slamming shut as quite noisy.โ
