Northwest Colorado, Colorado hotel rooms at the Independent

"We had a great stay in Glenwood Springs. The hotel rooms were wonderfully large, which is great for large families. The only thing we would criticize is that the rooms are loud. Our room had lobby noise and the traffic from the interstate/ highway was very loud. We played white noise to help. The pool area is nice, but it stays crowded. The only other thing that could improve is charging customers for parking. However, we liked the facility. It was in a good location not far from all the popular spots. You have to drive, though. It isn’t walkable like some of the other local hotels. The breakfast was great, a little awkwardly laid out which made us have to cross back and forth a lot, but it was good. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We feel like there are a few areas for improvement, but were happy with our stay."

"Nice roomy parking spots, clean overall feel to the place, nice front desk staff, neat area surrounding the facility. The soundproofing isn't what it is in the big Vegas hotels so you'll get to share in whatever activities your upstairs neighbors are choosing to do ! But if you've got quiet neighbors, it's all good"
