โA beautiful hotel, with amazing staff, and the gift of an amazing history told throughout the building. The location is ideal with the Parliament Buildings a short walk in one direction, the Byward Market in another, the Rideau Canal, museums, galleries and shopping all close by. Highly recommended. โ
โBeautiful room in the heart of downtown. Very comfortable bed, thick towels, water was hot and plentiful and room was quiet. Would definitely return here for a longer stay to visit the area. โ
โThe Swiss Hotel was a convenient and clean place for us to stay while in Ottawa for a few days. We discovered its just down the street from the Ottawa Mission so we changed our walking route. Interestingly there were two high end hotels located just across the street from the Mission. We liked that the Swiss Hotel was close to the Byward Market area, Parliament Buildings and museums. We would stay here again.โ
โWe were disappointed the rooftop lounge was closed for a private party. They did not tell us at check in.
(** There was a cadet hockey team that ran up and down the halls banging on doors on our first night. Really not cool. Parents, supervise your kids! **)โ
"A quite uncomfortable, a quite noise room and midnight can't sleep at all because of beside room talks, very clearly listen the conversation.
No secret as voice.
Old facilities so not clean, even no fill up soap and comolementary water, terrible service.
Not recommended as accomodation on Ottawa."
