"We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were wonderful and friendly. Check in was efficient and friendly. Food was mostly good but would like a better selection for Westerners and overpriced in my opinion. Breakfast in Spices was always a great way to start our day. The staff there were very polite and friendly. We were in a pool suite which was great. We spent alot of time in our own pool that was serviced daily. We should have had ocean views as but there were weddings on right in front of our room for 5 of the 7 days we were here. Although it was very interesting to see them set up , pull down and re set for next wedding this did take away from the relaxing vibe and view from our room and was quite often a little noisy. Our room itself was lovely and clean and housekeeping were great. It does need a bit of a facelift though,and is looking a bit tired. The grounds of the resort were beautifully maintained. The Resort was full although it did not feel crowded at any time. A few more organised activities for the older kids would have been great. Overall we would consider coming back...."

"Our experience at Sakala was amazing!!! From the service to the dining and everything else in between! The breakfast experience was amazing and hearing about the French toast everyone raves about; it did not disappoint! I’d especially like to give a shout out to the lagoon bar tenders Oka and Deadi (Adi)! Amazing guys! Very personable, fun make great drinks and just seemed like all around great guys. If they are there, when you visit just know you’re in good hands! All around Bali was great to us and look forward to coming back!"

"Stunning hotel - lovely clean spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Friendly professional staff. Amazing pool area with man made beach, water slide, pool baskets all and sun lounges. Right on the beach. Many food choices and not too far from shops (10 min car ride)"

"Everything was perfect on ground floor as we asked for so was easy access to pool. Pool is large and plenty shade, the otherside pool for lazy river area was a fun area , although a bit slippery floor on tiled floor near pool, as a couple of people slipped All in all fantastic place"

"I was a solo traveler, and this was the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in for the price point the amenities the gorgeous pool sauna steam room, hot tub in the back. I loved my yoga glasses with Awan and water aerobics. 10/10. Also my manicure with Fifi was one of the best I’ve ever had."
