“Good location surrounded by countryside. The hotel has been decorated since we last visited, which was nice to see. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. The only problem is the interconnecting door which can transmit noise. On a plus side the pool is great and we found dining in the golf clubhouse a nice change. Overall a good two night stay.”

Didn't bother going to breakfast the 2nd morning. There was an odd smell on the first day when we walked into room but it was stifling hot so put the air conditioning on and left it at that. “This is a lovely hotel. We didn't know what to expect and upon arrival, were delighted by the decor, cleanliness, and the professionalism of the manager who greeted us. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all of the basic amenities that we would expect. Breakfast was next level. A full English breakfast, including a full gluten-free and veggie option with doorstop toast. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future, and can't recommend it enough if...

“Yes to both questions. Though a busy Saturday afternoon mean there was only one parking space when I arrived available because someone was just leaving!”

“Large spacious room, comfortable beds, small but modern bathroom, great setting and nice and quiet over night, free parking on site. Staff were very helpful with any of our questions, breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty of variety and all for a very reasonable price. Will definitely return”

“Room and bed are cleaned well and morning breakfast is served also good. But ventilation is not good. Doesn't have any air conditioner so room is filled with hot air when checked in. Hotel is closed to road so that buzzing vehicles noise comes into window over night make me hard to sleep. Electric hot pot is served with stain inside so there's no way to make tea in the room.”

“Excellent accommodation with restaurant. Menu high quality and good value. We originally planned to eat on only one of the nights of our stay but couldn’t resist a second sitting. Lucky with weather so we’re able to sit and have a drink by the pond. Cooked breakfast a bonus. Quiet setting just outside chard which was easy to find with ample parking”
