“Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun.”

“The property is for sale as a going concern The staff whom are there are doing their very best in the situation We recognised some of them from our last visit They are lovely It will be interesting to see what happens to the place over the coming season Hopefully we will visit again soon ”

“Spacious and very clean room with all the amenities you could ask for. Some very thoughtful touches. Contact with Cara was amazing, she responded promptly to any queries. Breakfast was delicious and delivered exactly on the time we requested. Couldn’t fault it ”

“quirky little B&B in Chard centre. Very quiet town - only arrive din teh evening and left straight after breakfast - which wa svery very nice. James and his wife were very welcoming and friendly. Get there before 10pm if your'e travelling from afar - its' not 24hr check in . Ithink I had a single occupancy room - it was very clean and enough room - bathroom was compact!”

“Lovely place, just out of the town centre. Craig was really welcoming on arrival. I stayed in the Oak room which was clean, spacious and comfortable. It had a nice big bathroom area with a rainfall walk in shower. Free parking was off the road in front of the building. I couldn't ask for more. Perfect for the weekend away.”
