“This is the former Conde Naste headquarters so the property is very stylish and impressive. It’s a huge hotel with a recent remodel so there are conferences on the weekdays and weddings on the weekends. I was there on a Monday, so it was quiet, perfect for a good nights sleep. Rooms are spacious, clean and well lit. I liked the quality of the shampoo etc. Some rooms face the interior atrium which I would probably not be comfortable in since there could be noise from the bar area.”

“When we arrived, the room had not been properly cleaned. We spoke with the housekeeping staff, who cleaned the room very quickly, but unfortunately it was still not properly clean afterward. I raised the issue with the housekeeper, and she seemed unhappy about the complaint and began speaking in Spanish, apparently assuming that I would not understand. Proper bathroom cleaning is essential. The toilet was dirty, which is unacceptable and reflects a lack of attention to hygiene standards....

“Make sure you download the contactless info to get into the room before you get there. You have to call for the wifi, there's no service in that location. It's not ideal. There was construction outside all night long - very loud. And, you can hear everything in every room around...people were partying loudly all night long. Parking is an issue early because of the restaurant.”

“They charged me an extra $100 to check in early starting 10:00am but they barely had the room available for me at 11:00am, so they overcharged me. The check-in had a security glass screen, giving the feeling of a bank counter or jail visit area. Plus there was construction going on right in the lobby, which was a big inconvenience. The neighborhood is totally run down, unsafe and full of druggies and thugs. Lastly, staff and guests in the hallways and other rooms are loud, obnoxious, and you...

“We were promised breakfast from 7-11am. we got to breakfast at about 9:45am to seeing a staff member cleaning up. We had-no breakfast and told not to expect any on Sunday. That was disappointing, we had to order dunkin' donuts. We were not able to use the steam room and jacuzzi which was out of order. The place is beautiful but what was missing was disappointing.”

“We had a dog barking off and on for most of the first night. Made it impossible to get a good nights sleep. They had us move to a different room the second night and we had a mouse running around in that room.”
