"When we arrived Hilton were having issues with their computer systems so check in was being done by hand. Whilst not really a fault of the hotel directly, a bit more communication would have been helpful. It took us 20 minutes to check in but people arriving after us had a lengthy wait. When we got to the room there was an issue with the fan in the bathroom meaning it constantly ran. Normally I would have complained about this and asked to swap rooms but with the aforementioned issues the queues at reception would have been a problem. In the end it wasn't too bad and didn't keep us up during the night. The hotel is lovely though, clean, decent beds and breakfast was very nice."

"The Selwyn was a lovely base from which to explore Richmond. The shopping and food areas were a 10 minute easy walk, and there was a lot to explore in a few blocks. We went to Kew gardens by bus from the train station so never needed a car while in town. Easy transportation to central London. There is some construction in front or the hotel this month making Uber to the airport a bit late, but that is expected to end by the end of the month. Rooms were smaller but comfortable and staff was very accommodating. Good TV channel selection for a hotel. Good breakfast. Would stay again if in the area."

"Have been to this Hotel several times now. Always a good experience and friendly staff who seem to remember you. Nice small compact home but everything was great. Nice bed and a good shower and soft towels. This hotel offers air conditioning which is needed at the moment. Look forward to returning in the Autumn."
