“The beds were super comfy and the rooms are spacious. The jetted bathtub in the room was very relaxing and filled up fast. We had cocktails next door at Victor which has a posh speak easy feel. Breakfast was great, free on site parking, small and quaint property. Only stayed one night; next time will stay longer.”

“The location was great and space was large. There was smell of smoke, the rooms and bathrooms are very basic.”

“Well kept, clean, and relaxing. The staff is helpful and the breakfast is very good. Located on the main avenue, you can stroll the shops, enjoy local restaurants, walk the beach a block away, or enjoy the view from your balcony (upstairs rooms). Great stop in the Central Coast’s Last Little Beach Town.”

“Nearby shops, oceanview, staff and beautiful property”

“Beautiful entrance with stairway up to our room.”

“Unfortunately we did not receive instructions about the heater and woke up at 1:30am freezing. The thermostat was simple, but nothing we tried could get the heat to go on. Also, I told the staff we like to get an early start in the morning and would need to pass on the breakfast because the earliest time offered was 8:30. She didn't mention no one would be at the front desk until 8am, so as we left at 7am, we left our room keys in a basket by the front door and hoped for the best.”

“The breakfast quiches and pastries were amazing! Staff was wonderful and the location is the best.”

“Everybody traveling through Santa Cruz should stay at the Monarch Cove Inn. Come to see the Monarch butterflies. Or watch for whales and otters from the deck! The rooms are pretty and comfortable. The staff are very helpful.”
