Fairmont Mountain Bungalows

8/10 Good
"When we checked in I was wondering why I was paying more than planned. Turned out we were put in a different cabin than we originally rented. We ended up in a family cabin. We talked to others staying and they said same thing happened to them. Idk if they were having reservation issues or what. Our cabin had 1 bedroom with a queen bed and there was a queen bed in the living room. The beds were 1 out of 5 very uncomfortable felt like we were sleeping on a board. We talked to others at cabins and they said they had 1 comfy bed 1 rock hard bed. There was ac in our livingroom which worked well once the filter was cleaned but it doesn't reach into the bedroom at all. If you were sleeping in the living room you were cold and if in bedroom you were hot. The bedroom definitely needs a fan of some sorts. There was a 4 burner stove one of the elements was broken. Water pressure was bad you needed to use very little shampoo so you could rinse it all out. There was a sign that said you need to wash dishes or incure a 20dollar fee except no plug for the sink. There was a midsize fridge that kept everything cold. Large tv in the livingroom. Microwave in kitchen. The water did get hot which was nice. The swimming pool was awesome. They had a tire swing and a small playground for the kids.Cute little table on the deck to sit at & eat.Location was great. The cabins are cute but they need some work. For the cost I'm not sure it was better than a place with a full aqua park. Staff was friendly."

"Exactly what you expect left from the hey day in the 70/80's in a town that no longer has the industry needed to keep it viable & profitable. Now it is off the beaten path & a great place to stay if you forgive the price paid by crappy policies & the political interests that destroyed the economy needed to support it 🙄 Great staff and comfy bed!!"

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at the resort over the long weekend, and it was an incredible experience. The property is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally well maintained. The food was delicious, and you could truly taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients in every meal. Unfortunately, we had to end our stay earlier than planned due to the power outage in the valley. Despite the challenging circumstances, the resort and its staff handled the situation with professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. They went above and beyond by welcoming both guests and stranded travelers seeking shelter, providing complimentary coffee and breakfast while helping everyone make alternative arrangements. Their hospitality and compassion during an unexpected emergency left a lasting impression on us. We truly appreciate all of the staff’s hard work and dedication, and we look forward to returning for another stay in the future."

"The pull out couch was covered in popcorn kernels. I can understand eating popcorn and watching movies but I would hope my cleaning crew would be more thorough. The resort is fancy and lovely.
