"Check in was quick, got nice room with city view on requested high floor. Convenient location where mall was adjacent. Lobby is okay except for the strong smell of whatever scent the hotel was using. Not very pleasing for some (including myself). Buffet breakfast was okay, a bit pricey for what was offered. Food was not refilled even if there was still over an hour left for breakfast. Staff were very helpful and courteous though."

"We had a very lovely stay at Astoria Plaza. We chose Astoria Plaza due to its convenient location to the Bayanihan Centre as we wanted it to be within walking distance due to Manila’s traffic. We were pleasantly surprised by the space of the 1-bedroom suite and were very pleased with the cleanliness of the suite. The air conditioning was also very much appreciated in Manila’s weather and the kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, plates, etc. If we could give some feedback, it’d be to perhaps change the shower curtain more regularly or to wash it more frequently. Due to the nature of its set up, the shower curtain is probably more wet than dry most of the time, and as such, the smell of mildew in the bathroom can be quite strong. It’s bearable more of the time, but changing it would give guests better peace of mind. Overall, still a wonderful stay and we’d definitely come back!"
