Loved it! Beautiful place, great location, but the thing that really made it exceptional was the staff! Super friendly, they all address you with greetings (from the receptionist to the handyman), some even address you with your name.

Proximity to Padang Padang Beach and the afternoon sunsets, overlooking surfers, is incredible. Food and beverage pricing is higher than the surrounding restaurants.

There are beautiful panoramic ocean views from throughout the property. The main building containing the lobby and restaurant features a native-inspired yet contemporary design. A variety of local and international dishes are available at the restaurant. Service there is outstanding. Outside the facility there are other good restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. I would not recommend this hotel for frail elderly people or families with small children, since some walkways require navigating irregular steps and diligence in avoiding potential hazards.

Suarga is the perfect place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean, tranquil and comfortable. Great location to places to eat, the beach and shops. Will definitely return. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable!

Pool area was beautiful and the staff were very attentive. The food was ok, but I think given how expensive it was compared to the places locally, the quality could have been better. The local restaurants were excellent, so we chose to go out more after an average bbq experience there. The rooms are lovely and in great condition- only comment would be that there is no chair or surfaces in the bedroom areas, so it’s hard to keep the room tidy. Also only a mirror in the outdoor bathroom which has poor lighting in the evening, so getting ready is a bit of a challenge. A full length mirror and a chair in the bedroom would instantly sort those issues out!

This place is pure magic. My husband and I booked and ocean villa and it did not disappoint. Walking distance to Padang Padang beach and some great places to eat. The staff is really helpful and the view can’t be beat. This is the place to stay

Suarga has the best view - unbelievable layout! You can spend the entire day on the pool decks with all the great seating and menu options- you never have to leave, nor do you want to. I extended my stay, but I had to switch rooms- unique rooms, so much character, thoughtful design. Food was really good: healthy mix salad and satay was my go to lunch; everything was good, breakfast assortment too. Deep tissue massage and scrub were amazing (Marta) & they take place overlooking the water! Monkeys are around so keep track of your belongings. Will be recommending to friends and family for sure!

If you are a surfer note you can not bring your board to your room. It’s stays in a locker in the parking lot. Padang Padang surf spot is convenient. The lobby and sea view is incredible. Layout of the rooms bathroom was weird. There is a wall between. Bed was comfy.

Leider kann ich die ganzen positiven Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Unterkunft hat keine 4,5*! -Papier mit 10 Punkten soll unterzeichnet werden bei Check-in, aber keine Zeit gelassen, es zu lesen - "Hütte" mit Ritzen/ Spalten bei den Türen / in den Wänden wo alle Insekten inkl. kleiner Tiere ins Zimmer kommen können, Ameisen gehören zum Inventar - Moskitonetz mit Löchern - Nachts SEHR LAUT, direkt neben der Hauptstraße, viel Hupen, Hunde bellen, morgens kräht der Hahn - nicht barrierefrei, Wege schlecht beleuchtet - beim Frühstück wurde die schmutzige Tischdecke einfach umgedreht und die Brösel der Vorgänger mit der Hand runtergefegt - Frühstück quasi NICHT inklusive, nur 1 sehr kleines "Gericht" von der Karte auswählbar, Buffet seeehr klein, zu unserer Zeit quasi leergefuttert, Getränke außer balinesischer Tee / Kaffee kosten alle extra - während dem Frühstück sollten wir 3x eine offene Rechnung vom Vortag begleichen, welche definitiv nicht von uns war, da wir am Vortag erst angereist waren. Erst als wir schon fast die Stimme erheben mussten, wurden wir endlich damit in Ruhe gelassen. Die Rechnung war von den vorherigen Gästen unseres Zimmers. - Bettwäsche, Handtücher mit Flecken - kein warmes Wasser mehr, wenn die anderen Hotelgäste zu viel verbrauchen, duschen mit kalten Wasser draußen mit kaltem Wind sehr kalt und unangenehm - überall schmutziges Geschirr von der Bar - Gäste von außen benutzen die Bar, daher ist es nicht enstpannt am Pool.

Great architecture, fantastic views. Loved watching the sunset from the infinity pool, overlooking Padang Padang beach. Quiet - you can't hear traffic, only the ocean. Stayed in the Ulin area of the hotel and loved the style, the walls turn into shutters and it's a great indoor/outdoor experience. The air/humidity system they have under the mosquito nets above the beds makes a hugely positive difference. The bathroom is less outdoor than the average Balinese hotel. Things to improve: - update the design of the furniture in the bar area and soft furnishings (e.g. cushions) throughout - at the included breakfast more attention needed to make sure the buffet has enough glasses, cutlery and napkins; keep better track and improve the speed of the food orders; consistency in food preparation (same egg dish varied wildly in quality on different days) - cocktails were mostly rum based, perhaps personal taste but I wanted more gin based options - spa Balinese massage was below expectations considering the almost triple price over what we paid in Ubud for a 3x better massage; no privacy in the spa area (outdoors, the gardener or guests sitting on the edge of the pool could see you getting changed); - have a signature scent to be used on the refreshment towels, toiletries, mosquito repellent on offer Surroundings: - very conveniently located next to Padang Padang beach - pharmacy nearby - useful for that surf lesson sun burn... - conveniently located on the main road, yet quiet

Das Suarga ist wirklich klasse und jedem zu empfehlen! Du hast einen wirklichen, einmaligen Ausblick über das Meer, siehst tausende Surfer und kannst die größten Strand Hotspots von oben aus sehen. Die Zimmer sind auf balinesische Art und Weise stilvoll und luxuriös ausgestattet. Außerdem betreibt jedes Häuschen mit seinen eigenen Solaranlagen Strom und das Bett erzeugt durch ein spezielles Innenleben, eigens die Kühle, die man selbst verstellen kann; so wie man es will (nie mehr geschlossene Nase) Außerdem wird man täglich zweimal mit einem sauberen Zimmer überrascht. Wir haben hier unsere 1. Unterkunft unserer Flitterwochen vollbracht und ich würde es weiterhin wieder tun! Tipp: Englischkenntnisse sollten vorhanden sein und man sollte sich unbedingt zuvor mit Roller fahren vertraut machen.

What I liked was the friendly staff, pool, bathrooms, and the Suarga Water bottles. Couple of things that can be improved are, hot water unavailability in the morning for shower, and lack of insulation in the room which makes it difficult to sleep after 7am.

Me gustó que había donde guardar la tabla de surf de mi hijo. Me gustó que nos prepararon y llevaron un desayuno madrugador para el día solicitado. El hotel en general está muy lindo. Nos reservaron los taxis a la hora requerida y fueron en general todos muy atentos y amables. Mi única queja es que cierran la piscina demasiado temprano (7 pm), y el proceso de “check in” tomó bastante tiempo (te hacen una explicación del hotel y del cuarto y de cómo funciona todo). Así que cuando fuimos a la piscina ya no nos querían dejar entrar. Tuvimos que alegar y discutir con los encargados, lo que NO es agradable cuando lo que buscas es relajarte y disfrutar de tus vacaciones.

Loved our stay here. The restaurant staff are great but food is very average - breakfast wasn’t good at all. Plus to be charged extra for a cappuccino ( 65k ) is ridiculous when paying 600 AUD a night. They’d be better off capping it at one per person. If they were to over haul breakfast and restaurant food then it would be a big improvement. It’s a shame as the view is incredible but we went out for every meal as the food was so bad compared to the phenomenal restaurants around.

Expedia up sold me to a lager room room of 80 sqm with an ocean view On arrival our room was less than half that size and no ocean view. It was nevertheless beautiful and I don’t blame the hotel - Expedia ripped me off! And it’s not the first time. It’s a beautiful place to stay with views that cannot be bettered. Drinks and food are extremely expensive( more like 5 star $) for a 4 star resort So eat and drink out would be my advice

The hotel is beautiful and you really can't beat the views from the pool and restaurant area. The staff were all lovely and helpful. The location is ok, possible to walk to a few places but towards the other direction there are no sidewalks at all so really need to have a scooter or get a taxi. The restaurant at the hotel is only ok, quite over priced though and the breakfast was so average that we ended up not bothering and just went elsewhere for nice coffee and food.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They asked for our credit card at check in, took to the back to make copies without asking (no other hotel in bali did this, their excuse was its a bank requirement). The bellhop stares expecting a tip when we didn't request him. Towels were dirty with mud and other's hair. Bed canopy had dirt and suspicious reddish/brown stains (i.e. possibly blood). The walls had gaping holes to the outside (their excuse: its "sustainably engineered"). No air conditioning other than some vent installed on the bed. The safe box is not attached. No screens on the windows. HERE'S WHERE IT GETS BAD. We booked a romantic sunset dinner elsewhere. Upon leaving for it, we found the lock on the door was broken. We spent an hour waiting as the "engineer" fumbled around (it just needed batteries). The sun had set and we missed our dinner. Two separate manager's came by (we were livid), saying they would make it right, we asked them not to do ANYTHING. When we got back from our LATE dinner, we found our room entered and our belongings moved around (the opposite of what we asked). At 5am I wake up to my fiance screaming due to a giant cockroach on her toothbrush. That was the last straw. We called the hotel, no answer (Per manager, theres no 24 hour service!) We spent 6 hours on the phone with expedia, our credit card, and the hotel once they finally answered. Hotel refused to refund us for the miserable 12 hours we survived before leaving! Don't pay for this broken product!

In regards cleanliness allow me to share with you that our HK guardians have been nominated for the last quarter best performer of the season. Our daily service includes morning and turndown service, in case of service not required the sign of not disturb should be placed at the door. In regards our room concept I would like to bring to your attention the fundamental values Our resort was conceived: Most of the Suarga resort’s structures are built on stilts in effort to preserve the indigenous flora and fauna and to promote natural cooling air circulation. A registered applicant of the forest stewardship council (fsc), The resort is predominantly built using recuperated wood from abandoned ironwood pontoons in borneo, broken down thick houses, old factories, other fsc certified materials. The hole was mentioned is the authenticity of recycled materials with a new use. We deeply sorry if our mission was not appreciated. In an effort to explain how we are a sustainable resort and pesticide free, and also in order to make you comprehend the fauna and flora of this very fragile Uluwatu cliffs, our Resort Manager did meet you. An alternative accommodation was also offered, in compensation of your feeling towards our hotel alternatively and exceptionally a 50% refund was also approved for the early check in, Which was also rejected, being your booking handled by a third party we could not do anything else. Great hotel and location. The picture you see is a private villa, not open to all. The location is grossly over priced, the food is good but not worth it, drinks are over priced and watered down and dont take one item from the mini bar.. they charge you for the entire bar. Dont eat there, there are great places around to eat.

The food was great we had breakfast included and so glad we did. We eat dinner there several nights and it was delicious. The location was great walk to many things. If this place isn’t rated as a 5 star resort it should be. When we come back to town we will definitely be staying here again.
