"We love Big Sur and the Big Sur Lodge. Our room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. HOWEVER, we ran out of toilet paper and had to use kleenix on our last morning there. We also had to ask for clean towels and more coffee bags earlier in the week."

"Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. This is an older property so you have to realize some parts are historic and don’t have amenities you might find in most newer properties. Our room didn’t have a/c. They did have fans and we could open the window. It was cooler outside so our room never got too hot. The historic portion might require some stairs off the elevator where a luggage cart can’t go. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was coffee, tea & hot cocoa available in the morning in the parlor off the lobby. The lobby had couches, a little book lending library. There was a table & chairs if you wanted to play games. We only wished it had a TV to watch the Workd Cup. The price was right for our budget. It was conveniently near the ward, the plaza, restaurants, bars and a great walking path."
