“We had a wonderful stay in the ground-floor studio at Ballas Apartments. The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible. ​Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. Location-wise, it’s ideal—we easily drove to Assos and Fiskardo in around 40 minutes. The drive from the airport is straightforward, but a hire car is essential for exploring. “Great place to start off our honeymoon! Easy access to beach with beautiful clear blue waters. Everyone was so kind and helpful. It was very calm and relaxing which is exactly what we wanted before traveling to the busy island of Santorini. Our pool was amazing, it was a little chilly so be aware if you’re looking to book in May the pools are not heated. Definitely recommend renting a car to drive into the capital town of Argostoli, it was like a 10 minute drive. Such a cheaper alternative...

However, our experience was far from what we had hoped. The biggest issue was the noise. Our room (Room 3) was located next to a busy road, and the bin collection at 5:00 AM added to the disturbance. The rooms are not soundproof, so we could hear everything from neighboring rooms—doors closing, showers running, conversations, and even toilets...
