The exterior of hotel is really old especially the elevator made me to think that I chose a wrong hotel. But the interior of hotel was actually nice and had everything that needs. Also the staff was really nice but they couldn't speak English so I had to use a translator. The problem of the hotel was not a hotel, but a club located nearby. They went over 12pm. So better ask a for quite room otherwise it would be really uncomfortable.

I loved how large the room was. It was very spacious and came with everything that I needed and more. I also enjoyed the AC! It was very hot and in the room, it was always fresh thanks to the AC.

This place is in dire need of maintenance. Zero water pressure the showers. Most things are falling apart (ie. faucets, doors, tvs, etc). The only two things that makes this place worthwhile is the rooftop pool and the location.

Very nice location. Great and friendly staff. Inside is very cozy and the rooms are super large. Within walking distance to everything. Great club in front of property if you like to party. However you don’t hear a beep when inside the room, which makes it a great place to rest!

A nice spot close to everything. Staff was great! They did have a bat problem when we were there, they were on our balcony, the droppings could be seen on our patio and in the hallways, and the hotel definitely needs some serious maintenance- which was happening when we were there... Overall I might stay again for the right price.

Encontré 2 cucarachas en el piso cerca de la regadera y la limpieza de las sábanas y el departamento estuvieron horribles, cabellos en la cama, manchas en las almohadas, las toallas están percudidas, moho en las paredes del baño. Lo único bueno es el buen trato del personal en la recepción. Compré un cloro y me puse a desinfectar. No dije nada para evitar enojos. Pero no vuelvo a ese hotel nunca. También cuando estuvimos en la habitación intentaron abrir la puerta del cuarto y no pudieron porque tenía el seguro por dentro. Tuve que gritar que estaba ocupado para que dejaran de intentar abrir mi habitación.

I was supposed to get a bottle of wine at check-in. I asked about it and was told that the storage area was already locked up and I would not be getting it. He then suggested that I could buy one from the onsite bar.

Really nice hotel for a great price. The decor was really well done. Got some amazing pictures , cool roof top with murals on the wall. Friendly staff. Nice size room. Perfect location walking distance from beach, shopping areas, clubs, restaurants and bus drop off and pick up to the airport. Was able to walk to my hotel from the bus station. Helps to definitely save on cabs anywhere you need to go because everything is right there. I would definitely recommend this place!

This property looks great. I stayed foe five days. Overall my stay was just ok. There is a nightclub across the street so you will hear loud music until around 3am. They have security at the door 24hrs a day. The reception desk was moderately helpful. There is no gym on premises and when i asked reception if they knew where one was i was tild to use Google. My headphones went missing from my room and no one cared. The roof is nice but as I entered the area i heard one of the servers using a racial slur so i never ate or drank in the hotel. Location is good. Police hangout right at the corner and across the street almost 24hrs a day. Playa del Carmen was fantastic. I don't not recommend this hotel the AC was perfect and the overall service wasn't bad.

La limpieza en habitaciones inadecuada, solo tienden la cama, y no hacen el aseo de la habitacion, solo nos proporcionan un control para la televisión y eran 2 aparatos, y viajamos 4 personas y solo habia 2 tazas para cafe en habitación y cuando en administración solicitamos otras 2 tazas y un control, nos dijeron que estaba cerrada la bodega y que la persona que tenia llaves se va a las 4 de la tarde y quedaron en llevarlas a la habitación al dia siguiente y nunca nos las llevaron.

I'm baffled as to how this hotel is rated as a 4-star establishment—it barely meets the standards of a 3-star. My stay at The Palm at Playa del Carmen was incredibly disappointing. The condition of the bathroom was appalling; the shower was nearly non-functional with little to no water pressure, and the drainage was so poor that it left the floor a wet mess every time. It's clear that the management needs to invest in new towels and improve their laundering practices. Noise was a major issue throughout my stay, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the staff was consistently rude and unhelpful, contributing to an overall chaotic and unorganized environment. The management seems completely absent, and it feels like no one is in charge. I would not recommend staying here unless you want to waste your money and have miserable experience.

There was no room cleaning or service also they charge full amount for breakfast coupon but they give basic omelette or pankcake whereas other items on menu is cheap and you should pay at breakfast restaurant instead of getting coupon. Also when we asked for breakfast refund they said no parking was so small.

Breakfast was ok. The common area it was dirty. Bathroom amenities was so poor.

Not sure how this property is getting 4 or 5 stars for anything. Nonstop construction the 4 days I stayed here, Mon-Thursday. Grinding and cutting the walkway rails just outside my room. It so loud you couldn't spend time in the room at all. No offer to move me to another room and when I complained all I got was a free breakfast which I had to ask for twice. Mosquitoes in my room the entire stays. Front desk staff that didn't seem to care about any of these issues. Hair in the bathroom when I checked in. I can go on but I think you get the picture. Very disappointed and will tell family and friends to avoid this place in the future.

I loved how friendly the staff was. The location was also perfect. Very close to the sea and other pickup spots for tours.
