"Had an exellent time at this hotel. The room was very clean, and the staff was so polite at all times. Angel and Aciel took very good care of us during our stay. I loved how close this hotel is from quinta avenida, and how celebrated my husband felt during our stay. The only down side of this was that I requested a taxi to go back to the Cancun airport. Unfortunately, I was dropped off at the wrong terminal, which put us in a stressful situation. Then, had to pay $1,000 pesos for a taxi at the airport to take us to the correct terminal. Other than that, the trip was amazing! "

"We had a truly wonderful stay at the condo and appreciated the comfort and hospitality provided. A couple of suggestions that could make future visits even better: • Having a few extra towels available for beach use would be very convenient. • A written guide with clear do’s and don’ts for the condo, along with local tips about the area, would be a helpful touch for guests settling in. •A guest book to write in would add a beautiful personal touch, as well. We also want to thank you for the thoughtful gesture of offering us an additional night to offset the construction noise nearby. It made a big difference and showed great care for your guests. Overall, our experience was excellent, and we look forward to returning."

"Great spot "

"We had a great time at Riu Palace! The staff are so welcoming. They work so hard to make your stay great! The grounds are well kept. The room was clean and beds comfortable. The food is amazing! The buffet has a great variety each day and the food gets replenished often. My kids loved the chocolate fountain. Each day there’s a different type of chocolate in the fountain. I loved the seafood variety. We ate at the steakhouse restaurant onsite and had a delicious lobster. We ate at the Japanese restaurant and liked the food. It’s a first come, first served which worked well. We never had to wait. There were some fun times at the pool such as the bingo games, foam party and the gymnastics show. Javi is a great server by the pool side. He remembered our names and what we like to drink. We loved the Riu white party over at Riu Tequila across the road. Early in the evening there’s face painting and balloons. It cost $10 US taxi to get from the playa del Carmen ferry to the Riu resort. I suggest dealing in pesos. There is a laundry service available. You have to pay by the item so it can really add up. So we didn’t use it. There’s a lot of laundry to do with a family. Too bad there wasn’t a self serve laundry room or a pay by the bag service. The beach was great. There’s lots of people swimming in front of the resort. The ocean is warm and has clear turquoise water. The sand is white and fluffy. I didn’t see many shells or fish. We can’t wait to stay here again!"
