“I booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel....

“I needed immediate help when the sat sav dumped me nearby & my host talked me all the way to the front door which was a huge relief. The accommodation is dated but I knew that from the photos it was very clean though & i was surprised to find all the essentials had ben left. I wasn’t expecting that so had brought it all with me. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was lovely & the washing machine was handy. The area was very noisy though as it is right in town above a bar & I was there at...

“Lovely little flat in a very convenient location. Parking wasn't an issue as there was plenty of parking in the area. Asked for an additional heater before I arrived and they kindly put one in there for me. Stairs are quite narrow and are only wide enough for one foot per step, but not a problem for me. :)”

“This property did "exactly what it said on the tin": Communication with the owner was timely and efficient; the property was well equipped with just the right level of facilities; all info provided was up to date and useful. The really nice thing though was that it was quiet!”

“Enjoyed our break at The Turret, a very comfortable stay, had breakfast each morning on the small balcony with great views. The only negative was the lack of parking.”
