Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa - All Inclusive
6/10 Okay
"Overall, this is a good place to rest and relax. The staff was wonderful—every person we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and professional. Service throughout the hotel was excellent, especially at the VIP Club, where the team was truly outstanding.
The food was okay, but the buffet could use more variety. I’ve been visiting Cancun for over 10 years and have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts, and one thing that stood out was the limited liquor selection. Some common brands, such as Maestro Dobel, were not available—even in the VIP area but sold at a ridiculous price during night events.
The nighttime entertainment could also be improved. Shows were scheduled during dinner hours, which made it difficult to enjoy them, especially when traveling with a large group. In addition, the lobby bar closing at 11 PM felt early for an all-inclusive resort.
Another inconvenience was that restaurants could not accommodate larger parties (12+ people) unless an extra fee was paid.
Despite these points, the excellent service from the staff made the stay enjoyable."
Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya - An Adults Only All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Ocean was visable but no beach at this resort the hotel is clean well maintained friendly staff loved the swim up room! They had just launched the app to make the reservation for the steak house and frank and Lola you could only make reservations for more than 2 people that was disappointing that you would get on at 9 am by 905 they were all booked "
Ventus at Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice resort clean and friendly staff. Hard ti get reservations at the restaurants which was frustrating since you have to make them when you get there and you can’t make them yourself. Ww were told that they were totally booked several times but then when we got there we could see many empty seats. The all inclusive thing is not great if you can’t get inti the restaurants. Otherwise it was great"
Excellence Riviera Cancun - Adults Only All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"The room was clean, loved the turn down service every night. The staff was phenomenal, always friendly! The pools were perfect, temperature was perfect. Loved the lazy river, loved the pool activities. Food and drinks were delicious! Would like to have had real ice cream on the property, my husband loves ice cream! The shows, game quizzes every night were top notch.
We thought the floor in the lobby and down the stairs to the martini bar was kind of slick. Also some of the tiles and walkways around some of the pools were slippery. We saw someone fall by the lazy river. The beach was nice but it was unfortunate to have the sargasm on the beach, so we couldn't enjoy the water. "
Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort- Adults Only - Newly Renovated
10/10 Excellent
"The entire facility was clean and enjoyable. Booking through Expedia allowed us to utilize the Expedia Helpdesk which was very helpful to my husband and I. Yael provided us her whatsapp contact info and told us to reach out with any questions or concerns. She replied promptly and was always kind with a smile. She resolved issues like tv malfunction and a leak under the sink in our room. Yael made our stay memorable, and we will definitely be returning to this property."
