The staff was excellent the property was nice and the food was fabulous. Our room was huge. We really enjoyed the beach club also it was great to go during the day and also eat dinner there at sunset. The hotel pool was great and we really enjoyed the breakfast. Emiliano’s was under construction but will try when we return. The staff including Martin, Ulises, Alfredo, Leslie were great! All of the staff were really wonderful!

Casa Velas by far has been one of the best resorts my husband and I have stayed at. The staff always went above and beyond. The food was outstanding. All the ingredients were always fresh and delicious. The swim up bar at the pool was probably my favorite spot on the resort. Ramon and Antonio were always ready and willing to prepare us another delicious cocktail. Our room was tidied up to appear like it was our first night there. We also scheduled a wonderful couples massage at the spa which I also give it 5 stars! I cant think of a single that we did not like. We will definitely book this resort again.

This was our first time to Casa Velas. We liked how everything looked. It has beautiful landscaping and it is maintained very well. We were greeted warmly and everyone we passed always met us with a smile, a greeting, and a hand placed over their heart. The entire staff is genuinely gracious and kind. Many team members went out of their way to accommodate us which we appreciated. The restaurant service and the food were outstanding. I ate so much! I even requested chorizo added into my chilaquiles and eggs Benedict and the chef made great dishes with it. Even the appetizers (salad, soup, and caprese) were delicious. In fact, I ordered both the Cesar salad and the Tropical Caprese along with my dinner because I couldn't decide on which one to get. There was also a wide variety of drinks available at the restaurant, Pool side bar, and Lobby Bar. The Beach Club (their property outside of the hotel) had great service too and their Tostada Zen was so good that we had 3 of them. A shout out to some of the employees that we encountered were Sarahi and Miguel at the front desk, Ramon and Antonio at the pool bar, and Omar, Gerardo, and Ulises at their restaurant. It is employees like the ones I mentioned above that make us want to return. Not only is their hotel beautiful but they have team members who are the ones who make the experience worth it.

Lovely resort. We enjoyed our Honey moon here. Could not have asked more from the staff either, they were all so friendly and attentive; it really felt like they genuinely cared. Five star experience all around.
