“I was overall very impressed with the room. Lots of thoughtful amenities like extra batteries and earplugs which due to another guest’s yapping dog came in handy. My only real gripe is the bed was too firm for my liking and I couldn’t sleep well either night but if that’s not a problem for you I would recommend the Silver Sands.”

“Not very clean. Base boards stained in many parts of the room with some kind of liquid. Urine smell intermittently. Floor was coming unglued. Safety chain missing from door so we used a chair. Dead bugs behind table between beds, and a few other bonus bugs around the room. Mattress comforter cover was dirty. Mattresses felt very old... We could hear folks next door but they were nice and we got in late so it was the least of our worries. Just didn’t feel clean and safe. I expect more for two...

“The rooms are simple, spacious and clean. The room by the roadside is loud; and the layout of the bathroom is awkward. The toilet is sort of positioned underneath the sink. Not the nicest room to get for the price paid.”

“It was exactly what I wanted plus a little. Property is undergoing some long overdue improvements. The upgrades are great. Hosts ( owners?) are friendly and helpful. I want the little credenza that was in my cabin lol. Thanks for a nice stay.”
