“The staff, cleanliness, good food and experience were excellent. Our room was good sized, had features very helpful to us. We had our son and his family with us in another room. The support to the toddler and one year old was perfect. Thank you to the employees and owners. We appreciated the professionalism and cheerfulness.”

“My first room was so noisy from a pole banging on the side wall of the building. I called for help and they said this is just the way it is. The TV did not work, and the lock was broken on the door. I had asked for another room. I was finally moved to an upstairs room. Eight Harley Davidson’s pulled in and left their bikes running and the noise was intolerable. The highway traffic was loud. The room itself was just enough to sleep in and leave.”

“+ check-in was easy + cabin seemed fairly new and was well laid out + pet friendly - the cabin was not recently swept or cleaned when I arrived. There were several dead flies on the shower floor, a simple rinse would have cleaned them. There were a few spider webs in the empty storage areas. There were also 3 spiders. I get it, your in the woods, but inside the cabin itself was very buggy. My tents have been cleaner. - remember to bring bug spray for the campground. I had more mosquito bites...

“Clean modern rooms, great view of the harbor, very close to waterfront restaurants, fishing, crabbing, and ice cream. Has great coffee/espresso bakery shop. Staff friendly and helpful. Is quiet and restful.”

“Not very clean. Base boards stained in many parts of the room with some kind of liquid. Urine smell intermittently. Floor was coming unglued. Safety chain missing from door so we used a chair. Dead bugs behind table between beds, and a few other bonus bugs around the room. Mattress comforter cover was dirty. Mattresses felt very old... We could hear folks next door but they were nice and we got in late so it was the least of our worries. Just didn’t feel clean and safe. I expect more for two...

“I was overall very impressed with the room. Lots of thoughtful amenities like extra batteries and earplugs which due to another guest’s yapping dog came in handy. My only real gripe is the bed was too firm for my liking and I couldn’t sleep well either night but if that’s not a problem for you I would recommend the Silver Sands.”
