โWhile this is an older facility, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and lastly it is a park at the door motel. No long hallways. The facility is very near the Cumbres & Toltec Railway station and it is convenient to restaurants in Antonito. Nice owners. โ
โThis was a perfect stay for a late summer trip. It was magical. The setting is beautiful. The people in the resort were wonderful (Jeannie!). I would recommend it for all year travel, just for an escape.โ
โWe had the best time at Edelweiss Lodge and Spa! We went to Taos Ski Valley to hike to Wheeler Peak. Helen took care of us the entire time, checking on us on our hike and setting up massages while we were hiking down the mountain. The only negative was there was no air conditioning so it was a little warm in our room. Helen did come through though by getting us a fan. Overall, it was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend Edelweiss!โ
โI enjoyed the large bed in our room, the view of a mountain from the patio and the comfort of the reading room. The breakfast was good too. I wish that they had served bacon along with the eggs but the variety of items was nice. The fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious. โ
โIt is a unique property. Not fancy but very well maintained in the common areas and had a very nice feel. The lawns were green, and had horseshoes, corn hole, frisbee golf and lawn and patio seating. Breakfast had a good assortment of food, including mini tamales and burritos along with eggs, potatoes and fruit. Staff also went around and refilled coffees. Overall a very pleasant stay. โ
โCheck in and check out were completely remote and extremely easy and convenient.
Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Wifi was fast, water pressure was good, parking easy. They also had a lovely little outdoor area to sit in. I would highly recommend stepping out at night to see the stars - we could see the entire milky way from the parking lot.
The only little thing was that the A/C remote was a little hard to use.

โTaos Motor Lodge was a great place to stay with our St. Bernard. The staff was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The room was clean, appeared newly rennovated, and was well-appointed. Excellent stay for the value. We'll definitely stay here again. โ
