"Excellent, authentic NY Hotel. Not part of the big chain hotels. Excellent location. Friendly staff. Great restaurants. Don’t get too excited about the free grab and go breakfast. I mean, it’s ok for free. But don’t make that a part of your decision. "

"My toilet in room 3924 would not flush I had to pee so bad but had to wait for someone to come and plunge the toilet because it would not flush!!!!! Horrible experience I ever had holding my pee until someone came to fix the problem. The refrigerator also had residue in it. "

"The staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful, administering to all our requests happily. After the end of our one night stay, my son and I wanted to go on a ferry around the New York coast to see the statue of liberty. The tour ended at one so it meant we could only get back to check out at one thirty, and the staff did not charge us extra. Also, we needed to go to the Greyhound bus terminal and had lots of heavy luggage, and one of the staff gladly helped carry some of our luggage. He also guided us to the terminal. A rooms were small but otherwise clean and tidy. Very nice hotel!"

"Couldn’t access hotel street closed had to park 3 blocks away dirty room sheets dirty garbage in night stand no concierge found and on check out had to walk down 10 flights of stairs with luggage terrible stay never again "

"Rooms were in decent shape. The worst part was the elevators. Recommend a lower floor so you can use the stairs. Staff was very friendly and professional. "

"It was possibly the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. There was not a single chair to sit in, no refrigerator, no coffee maker, and no microwave. Windows had no view. It was sunny in the morning but I could not tell from the windows. It wasn’t bad until you look at the cost. "
