"Stayed for one night to attend an event in central Winchester, which is a 10 minute drive away. The room itself was lovely and clean. The breakfast was excellent - lots of variety for all appetites and tastes. Was replenished regularly. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!"

St Johns Croft has a lovely quirky ambience, the whole place smells of lovely old timber, gardens are delightful, the breakfast wholesome, much of it locally sourced. All served with a smile and friendly chat from the hostess, Dotty"

"Great, central location in Winchester with restaurants all around within 1-2 minutes walk. Great coffee machine, comfortable bedding and friendly and helpful staff. I also loved the addition of Monacle by reception! Great taste!"

"An absolutely amazing stay in a brilliant location. A perfect base for a short break, where we enjoyed visits to Bracknell, Stone Henge, Chessington World of Adventures and a lovely visit to nearby Winchester city centre to take in a bit of history and enjoy some fantastic restaurants. We stayed as a family of four with our two young boys. The accomodation was spacious with all the facilities you need for a home away from home. The hot tub was maintained every day, making it convenient for a quick dip any time we wanted. The putting green was great fun for the whole family. Modern Smart TV with ability to cast and stream our personal streaming services, and dedicated WiFi for the lodge. Best UK stay we've had. We'll definitely be back again."
