We had unexpected car troubles on the way home from our family vacation. We ended up in Salisbury MD and had to stay the night while our vehicle was getting repaired. The Best Western was recommended to us by the man that towed our vehicle. We are thankful because we had a great experience! The staff was friendly, accommodating and generous. If you find yourself needing to stay the night in Salisbury MD then The Best Western is where you want to stay.

The room looked like it was updated recently and would have rated a four if not for no elevators to access 2nd floor, large cobwebs on the lamps and on the sides of the ac unit. The tables, bed, bathroom and sink were quite clean. They had good offerings for breakfast and the staff were helpful - we had to ask for hand soap and shampoo refills as they were empty, there was no remote for the tv in the room which were provided for once we asked. The telephone was out of order and was not fixed during our stay. The staff did mention it might not be fixed until the next day. The front desk person at check out looked so put out that I rang bell to do so and to ask for a receipt to be sent to my email which up to this writing has not been received.

Disliked: Amenities
Very small room amenities minimal, staff were very nice Had to pickup and return soiled linen. This hotel was listed at 4 1/2 stars. Very upsetting to see such a poor hotel listed on Hotels.com. I will be looking on others sites before booking again. Extremely disappointed. Breakfast was ok but not great parking ok

I have stayed here now three years in a row. They have made a concerted effort to improve and they have! Emily(?) at front desk went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy! Good choices at breakfast buffet. No problem staying here again!!

I was not impressed from the road as we drove up, but we had a terrific five day stay. The lobby has been renovated. Breakfast was delicious. The bed was very comfortable. Best on our multi week road trip. Well located. Attentive, friendly staff/owners.
