The area is nice for a calm vacation. Different pool options, food options, and activities. Although some staff members were a little rude. The hotel room was clean tightly and spacious. I do wish there was a tour given before because it’s is a big place and feel like we found things out last minute and couldn’t utilize it.

The pools were always clean, a little sand on the bottom in corners, but nothing to complain about. The pool bar staff and the lady in charge, Yolanda is fantastic, they run themselves off their feet to serve everyone. The rooms are clean and well services, however, they forget to bring clean towels on some occasions. The staff on the nights we ate at the buffet, were terrible. The lady who operated the buffet bar, was rude, shut off the icecream machine an hour before the buffet shut down time. She turned it off and said there were no more icecream, yet we witnessed her pumping the icecream into plastic bags. This was at 9pm when the buffet remains open till 10pm. Unfortunately did not take her name. The rest of the staff at the night time buffet took forever to bring refreshments to the table. To the point we had to go and get our own. As for the kitchen, they would keep stocking up on all the carb-like foods, pasta, rice, potatoes, fries instead of refilling the beef (steaks one particular night). They would bring out more chicken (odd cuts) and dry pork. When we inquired about the steaks (char-grilled) we kept being told, 5 more minutes, then 1 more minute, ten when my husband went to ask he was told 30 more minutes. We don't usually leave bad comments, but this was too much and two nights in a row. Booking at the speciality restaurants doesn't exist anymore, they only give you a "past pass" so you can try to get in quicker than others, No specific time is guaranteed.

The pools were great and excellent for enjoying with family and young children. Overall the hotel amenities were very good, the staff was excellent and always looking to help and provide a very enjoyable experience. The main buffet restaurant always had great quality varied food options. We also tried 2 of the dinner restaurants and the food was good but the service was less efficient and poorer than in the main buffet restaurant since they had less servers staffing those restaurants. Our main issue was our room, a Junior Suite Ocean View Double. The door to the room was on the backside of the hotel facing the busy highway and the services side of the hotel in tower 4 so it was very noisy for the road and garbage trucks/services/main AC room for the hotel. The room’s furniture was also dated and not in the best condition or cleanliness. Both beds were unstable and we had several other issues with the room that we reported that the staff helped resolve. We would certainly stay in the hotel again and would recommend it, but would look to stay in a different part of the hotel that also offers a room in better condition.

If you can ….. look elsewhere….. biggest mistake we’ve done in a long time , do the same price per night you you go to a Riu and have a way way better experience and service

This property was lovely overall. They keep the property and common spaces very clean and immaculate. The staff were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Overall property is nice. It does need some upgrades, shows some age. Umbrellas are old, lounge chairs could be upgraded and beach chairs for fire pits need to be replaced. Lounge chairs are limited and other guests reserve chairs super early, before the pool even opens. The room was clean and so were restaurants. When checking in, ask about dining and make reservations. Cocktails are average and wine selection is limited. Concierge staff truly added to our trip. Diana and Brisas were extremely helpful with our dinner reservations and transportation. Luis was helpful with getting our luggage transported and to our rooms.

An excellent family oriented resort with a nice layout and everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. Very friendly and helpful staff always greet you verbally and with a welcoming gesture, and look to try their best to accommodate any special requests. The pools were a hit with the kids, and space in them was plentiful. Our family has for different rooms, and they were all spacious, had a 4 seat dining set, comfortable beds, and a spacious bathroom and shower. Virtually every room in the resort overlooks the inner courtyard and pools, and most will have a peek-a-boo or spectacular view of the ocean. There are 3 natural-gas (no burning embers or smoke!) fire pits on the beach that are lit up in the evening for conversation and watching the free beachside shows. And if you book through Expedia, be sure to take advantage of the perks offered to you by the on site Expedia desk and Concierge. The food is subjective; our family (six adults and three children ages 6 to 1) were all satisfied with the selection and quality... but we were not expecting 5 star quality food at a 4 star resort. My only cons would be that the resort is showing some signs of decay (rusty railings and awnings, worn plumbing fixtures) and that some staff, although friendly, were not very well trained for service. There are signs of some items being updated in stages (some railings have been replaced), but non of the maintenance items posed a danger of any sort in my opinion.

Yes everything was amazing. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Pool was 10/10. Restaurants were well kept and offer wide selection of food. Kids friendly. Lots of options in buffet.

-overall good value for what you receive -staff were professional and accommodating. Kudos to Pedro from the swim up bar, Jesus at the buffet, and the cleaning staff -hotel room we did not receive king bed as booked, we received two doubles -sliding veranda door and shower door didn’t close -nice how mini bar is stocked with bottled water everyday -supper there were many options for food -lunch was buffet or surfos/beach bar. Not enough options -breakfast only the buffet which was boring. Would have been nice to have a plated breakfast like eggs Benedict. -swim up bar and adult area superb -beach is very clean and not many vendors . Suggestion to bring a fishing rod. -husband was not impressed with altitude club as he did not like the segregation -checking and check out process was easy -easy to get transportation via taxi or uber -gift shop pricey. There is an oxxo five min walk away from the resort. -can’t swim in ocean -did not receive shuttle with our package -overall 7/10 experience. Management could easily change it to a 9/10 with more dining options, updating worn chairs and tables, additional staff, and small upgrades.

It was my wife’s birthday and we spent 3 quality nights there however checking process was a little bit long and the first room they gave us didn’t smell good and ilwas not neat and clean so they gave us another prett clean upon request. Amazing breakfast at the buffet is the first remarkable thing about this place with variety of fresh fruits, salads and drinks. The grill restaurant was not good at all with non friendly staff. The best time we spent was at mail pool with amazing ocean view, those two pools are pretty well maintained and look beautiful. Jacuzzis on the other side need more attention and cleaning. Totally it was a good experience for the first time at Los Cabos.

Breeza was very helpful throughout our stay, amazing actually (upgraded our rooms due to a bug/noise issue, answered all our questions, made all our restaurant reservations). No issues (aside from the first night), water was too rough to swim in, sound of waves made for a very peaceful, relaxing trip. Good choices for food (depending on the which restaurant: buffet was hit/miss, portion size was a little on the light side at Rissoto, the Japanese restaurant was excellent). Lots of nice touches (coffee/ice cream shop, food for in-between meals by the bar), programs. Bartender at main entrance around dinner time was amazing (great tasting drinks, good service). Good times.
