"The floor was filthy. There was sand everywhere. The washer and dryer need proper maintenance performed. It took several cycles to get the laundry clean and dry. The kitchen did not have everything necessary to cook and the dishes had not been washed prior to our arrival. The hot water heater is in need of either a good cleaning or repairs as the hot water only lasted a few moments before running out. There was no extra bedding for the pull out sofa bed. "El Matador is a wonderful location. The complex could use some renovations, but it makes up for it in location and character. It’s a laid back location. Fewer people and less stress. We really enjoyed it. The room was well maintained and nice. We had a wonderful vacation and will try to rent the same room again. "

"Great property for a couple. It really isn't big enough for more and some features you may expect (an oven and a working ice maker) are not available. In fairness. I didnt let the rental company know about the fridge's ice maker, but i just assumed it was not hooked up. The walking distance and view of the beach were fantastic and the chair service on the beach was unbeatable!"
