“Have stayed here several times it’s a real gem of a place, great staff, great rooms, great food would highly recommend ”

“Lovely place to stay, the hosts where very accomadating and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast each morning was great i'm a vegetarian and had plenty to choose from. Location was spot on easy access to Scarborough, filey, robin hoods bay and whitby among others. Very clean Thank you for a lovely stay.”

“Gorgeous location. Big room with comfy bed and good bathroom. Cosy bar and we enjoyed a lovely meal. Nice walk into the tiny village for cafe and another pub. Good value. If you’re not a dog person it’s worth noting there were a lot of guests with dogs.”

“The room ( junior suite ) was cold as the radiators were not working when we arrived. Reception was informed at about 4,00 pm but nothing improved until several houirs later. Two electric heaters were put in the room and the radiators eventually came on. The 'fault', we weere told, was the room thermostst which was located outside in the hallway (???) and somebody had turned it off. Shame that the management didn't check the room thoroughly prior to our arrival. Otherwise, great room,...

“The hotel is well situated and offers a convenient base for the local area. I would also like to commend the night staff, who were exceptionally professional, understanding, and accommodating throughout our stay. However, our experience in Room 11 was deeply unsettling. During the night, my partner was abruptly woken and believed she had been physically touched, which caused her considerable distress. When we raised this with staff, we were informed that similar reports had been made...

“Great parking,fast check-in with very friendly, helpful knowledgeable staff. The breakfast menu is superb with fast efficient service. The rooms are clean, and the bed is super comfy and serviced daily and has tea/ coffee making facilities and biscuits. The bathroom has a large shower with soap and shower gel supplied. We look forward to our next visit.”

“Nice big room and bathroom, the only downside was staying there during a hot spell and the bathroom got the sum very early morning and the bedroom for the rest of the day making it unbearable to sleep in, even though there was a fan provided. The bottom sheet didnt fit the bed properly so with shuffling due to the heat it didnt stay on for long. Great location and a good base for visiting the area and plenty of parking. We had breakfast but wished we hadnt as it was very disappointing when...
