They went out of their way to help us — from restaurant recommendations to directions, they even helped us coordinate transportation to the train (which doesn’t seem like a big deal, but when you find yourself in the middle of the Festival of Sao Joao at midnight and realize you might still struggle to get an uber a 8am, they helped us pre-book transportation amidst the wild celebrations across the city). "My stay at S. Bento was excellent. Here are my highlights and lowlights- Pro: Location! This is a perfect location. You can walk around everywhere and take a break at the hotel if needed. House maintenance is really good. Excellent service. Friendly staff. The hotel has modern and beautiful decoration and design. Loft look hotel. Con: Noise from outside (Fully understandable since this is located at the busiest street.) It is a bit dark without natural light. This can be improved by adding more lighting. "

The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with places to go and suggestions for the amount of time we had to explore. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. I certainly would stay here again. Our rental car was safely parked in the garage as well. "
