“This place was in a nice quiet area. Check-in was easy. Water pressure was good. Place was very clean and smelled good. No hassle parking and included a breakfast. Just lower your expectations for breakfast it's basically coffee, juice toast and waffles. Don't expect eggs or bacon/sausage. It's good to hold you over until you get a real meal. Wifi was good and overall place was good.”

“Nice property, easy to maneuver. Friendly, helpful staff, clean open rooms. Coffee and cookies available at the lobby 24/7. Close to Capitola Beach”

“Clean room and friendly staff.”

“A quaint hotel right smack dab in the middle of town…the free taxi to Shadowbrook was a plus! We walked everywhere which we appreciated as we enjoy a cocktail every now and then.”

“Clean nice place. No balcony in our room, nor kitchen but fridge and microwave. Lighting a bit too blue- sort of florescent. Proximity to beach hard to beat.”

“Evelyn was great, she was so pleasant and understanding. She made everything so easy. Thank you Evelyn! Always nice to where people make it easy when you book a room.”

“It was very good. Would recommend staying here.”

“The location and view were awesome . All the front staff and valet guys were friendly and helpful . Loved it .. Cheers”

“Absolutely charming little cottage just a short walk up from the beach. The beach itself is great, though busy. Lots of places you can walk to, including a local beer garden, and Starbucks is less than a block away for morning coffee. Extremely clean, though the property is a little older. Very quaint. Parking is limited, but it wasn't a probelm during my stay. Would return.”

“Day/night shift lady who checked us in (I believe her name was Sheryl) was very welcoming, patient while I was looking for my card, and let us know about local things happening in the area. Breakfast buffet was good! Staff kept everything well stocked. Pool wasn’t heated the first night but I believe it was the second night (when we did not get to go swimming). Lots of shopping centers in the area. Property was well kept.”

“Everything is good”
