“Pros:
- beach a quick walk across the street and was not crowded at all.
- the pool was clean and heated which makes a big diff during the tail end of the summer
- they provide plenty of beach chairs and some umbrellas if you’re lucky
Cons:
- My biggest issue was that at the price point we paid it fell way short of our expectations. I’m not a picky person and I’ve been to Montauk many times. I could have paid less for another place that offers the same amenities and has programs for the...
“The view from my room had to be the best start of my trip. It was better than the pictures. The beach was clean, calm and super inviting. The cleanliness of the room was also great. I am looking forward to my next trip”
“It's clean and nice rocation
But pretty old and cold.
There is nice place for me.
But not romantic.
Pront guy was very kind
And near the beautiful beach”
“Spent Labor Day here with my family and absolutely loved it! We loved being right on the beach and the location was perfect. The fire pits at night were such a nice touch and made for a great way to unwind after a day at the beach. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Overall, it was the perfect casual beach hotel for a family getaway. We’d definitely stay here again!”
“Property was nice. When I booked through Expedia, the room booked was a studio. When I checked in at the property, we were told the room we got was a standard studio. Which was different from what I chose during booking. Also, I chose to pay at the property and my credit card was charged anyway before check-in.”
“Our room was poolside. Behind the pool were lounge chairs with a view of the ocean. Doesn't get any better than that! Pool doesn't close Labor Day. Stays open til mid October and is heated. Off the pool deck, is a pathway down to the beach. Slept with the door open so we could listen to the waves. Room had a stovetop, microwave, coffeemaker and mini fridge. Plates, glasses, pots, pans and utensils available for use. Bring your own food and drinks instead of paying for overpriced restaurant...
“The reviews make Ruschmeyer’s seem worse than it actually is. Our stay was not horrible, but it was not great either. The property has a lot of potential, but there is room for improvement.

There was no one present for check in or check out, and aside from the cleaning crew, we did not see a single staff member. We found the complete lack of staff off putting and, at times, a little...
