A quiet location situated within a riding school, so perfect for those with an interest in horses but not affected by it being a working stable. “It’s a fairly mid-range hotel. The staff is nice but often hard to find, since I think they also work the restaurant. I only had their continental breakfast which had enough several gluten-free options. The room was cleaned well and had plenty of space. ”

Room was modern but had a few cosmetic issues such as tape on laminate flooring and a shower screen that didn't stop the water from pouring out. It didn’t affect our stay but from a glance minor repairs could be made. Would still happily book again as location and breakfast alone was well worth it ”

“This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating...

“The reception staff welcomed us in a friendly efficient manner a lovely lady - the room was great everything was spotless - bar staff were friendly - we had an evening meal i can recommend the Chicken & Ham Pie it was delicious- we had a great time at this hotel also we visited the Wookey Hole Cave a fantastic experience”

“The hotel is just minutes off the M5 but an easy bus journey into the centre of Bristol. We had a lovely evening in Bristol and easily got back to the hotel. It is spotlessly clean and the staff are very helpful. The room had everything we needed and we had a choice of double or twin. Lovely breakfast. Great value for money. Lots of parking. We arrived a little early and it was no problem for us to check in.”

“Lovely old pub to stay at. Plenty of parking. We were there Sunday night and they have limited menu for food (roasts, fish and chips or a burger) but what we had was really good. Shout out to Jill who seemed to be every where. Dealing with check in, serving behind the bar, taking orders at the table and delivering food to tables!!! Amazing!! And to top it off a really good breakfast to see you off. Highly recommended”
