"Clean, refurbished room and kind, helpful staff. Breakfast was poor for a budget hotel, the lift felt unsafe, shower pressure was very low, and the room stayed cold with the thermostat not working properly."

Staff …amazing as they helped us with parking as well as the booking . we really enjoyed breakfast was the spread the spread was amazing. I had an excellency stay and I recommended to my friends and family and I’ll come back again if possible."

"Private room was very mouldy and paint peeling off the walls. The bathroom window didn't open so the mould smell stank out the room. All the power outlets in the room would often spark and cut out, when only trying to use one outlet. Radiator didn't work. "

"The hotel is well placed in the centre of Birmingham and close to "Grand Central", my room was comfortable and more than adequate for my needs. However one of the lifts was out of action for the whole of my stay, the other lift was slow, small and not up to standard. I managed to walk up and down to my room on the 8th floor a few times but the taking 20 minutes from pressing the call button to reaching the ground floor for my departure (with bags) was poor."
