"We had never stayed at a casino / resort. We enjoyed our time at the Grand Sierra. We found the room comfortable and the staff helpful and welcoming. Though we are not gamblers, there were many other options such as shopping, bowling, and other personal amenities. It also appeared very family friendly as there were several baseball teams staying at the resort for a tournament the week we were there."

"This hotel is such a great deal. The beds aren't the most comfortable, but they're not the worst. The rooms are updated and the property is nicely maintained. It's located in a central part of Reno. The price for the quality of the room can't be beat."
